In the ceramic industry, KimaCell® HPMC E4000 is utilized as a binder for molding ceramic products, providing lubricity, water retention, and enhancing the initial strength of raw materials. The concentrated solution is absorbed onto the surface of ceramic particles, reducing friction between the particles and improving lubrication.
